Ma Botts grew from an idea I had when I made the switch over from disposables to cloth nappies with my youngest.
Like most people new to cloth I tried a variety of different brands out there but none of them stuck. So I decided to design my own cloth nappy, thus Ma Botts was born.
Ma Botts is a small UK based brand creating luxury reusable cloth nappies and reusable products. All our nappies are an 'All in one style', where the inner soaker pad is sewn together to the outer PUL shell.
No stuffing or clipping inserts in are required. It is the closest style of cloth nappy you will get to a disposable. Once baby soils the nappy you wash the whole nappy as one.
Each cloth nappy is handmade with love and the utmost care and attention to detail.
Our nappies are a one size fits most, birth to potty fitting. Their weight range is approximately from 10lbs up to 35lbs.
The main idea behind our nappies was to keep everything as simple as possible. Using cloth nappies does not have to be gross or scary.
Use our nappies in the same way you would a disposable but instead of throwing it away, once it is soiled you pop it into the washing machine. Full wash care instructions come with each nappy.
The brand name 'Ma Botts' is a play on words with our surname, which is Mabbott.
Ma Botts = My Botts= Mabbott.
Our aim was to provide you with a nappy that is not only simple to use, eco friendly, stylish with the most beautiful patterns, but above all it works! Our nappies have proven time and time again to have superb absorbency and containment.
As a mother to two children, one being a very active toddler who wore and trialled all of our nappies before they went on sale, I understand the importance of having a cloth nappy that not only fits well, but is also completely user friendly and works.
